L'avventura Lucca 2008 è piuttosto particolare e merita almeno qualche parola. Di Fiera ed incontri tra cosplayers in realtà c'è da dire molto poco, se non nulla. Nonostante quasi una settimana di permanenza a Lucca non siamo riusciti a vedere praticamente niente, tranne il concerto della CriCri Nazionale (così chiamiamo Cristina D'avena ^^) cui abbiamo assistito sotto un'interminabile pioggia scrosciante (è stato davvero bellissimo *_*). La pioggia ha reso davverto tutto più pesante e noi MK siamo stati occupati fino all'ultimo secondo a completare i costumi di Final Fantasy XI che più passava il tempo e più sembravano INTERMINABILI!! A questo punto potrei divagare su Lucca Comics ma in realtà userò questo spazio solo per ringraziare coloro che hanno reso possibile la nostra partecipazione alla gara di cosplay di domenica e per questo non troverete foto di cosplay o della fiera... dedico questa fiera (e questo spazio) solo ai Magic KnightS!!
Mai come questa volta i ringraziamenti sono necessari e fondamentali in quanto stavolta, come responsabile dei Magic KnightS ho fatto davvero poco e, oltretutto, sono stato quasi un peso da trascinare in quanto non convinto fino in fondo di questa partecipazione, probabilmente per paura di tornare su un palco a gareggiare dopo 7 anni di assenza da Lucca. Nonostante questa nota (assolutamente) negativa in conclusione di questa (pesantissima) esperienza sono più che soddisfatto e ci tengo a spiegare il motivo: per la prima volta ho visto un gruppo unito che si è davvero impegnato e ha fatto decisamente del suo meglio per la riuscita del progetto! Primo tra tutti devo ringraziare Lorenzo che si è dato completamente ed ha cercato in tutti i modi di sostenermi, è solo grazie a lui che Final Fantasy XI è stato realizzato, ha dato l'anima per completare le armature e sorreggere l'equilibrio di tutti... mai una Colonna di Sephiro ha sostenuto così i Magic KnightS! Per questo ed altri motivi che non sto qui a spiegare lo ringrazio e gli dedico il premio vinto a Lucca! Ringrazio Enrico che ha combattuto contro il tempo tra armi e l'odioso draghetto che sembrava non poter essere terminato in tempo, Roberta per l'infinita pazienza ad attaccare centinaia di perline e cucire a mano ogni rifinitura e grazie anche Daniele, probabilmente scioccato alla sua prima esperienza di cosplay ^^. Mi scuso con i tutti i Magic KnightS per la mia "assenza" e li ringrazio perchè per quello che hanno fatto ora trovo la forza per poter impegnarmi di più e continuare questa avventura!! Questa Lucca è importante anche perchè è stato possibile collaborare con due grandissime del cosplay, due ragazze che ammiriamo da tanti anni e che hanno accettato di partecipare con noi e che ringrazio di cuore: Cris & Selaine! Un ringraziamento per la grande pazienza e aiuto va anche ai genitori di Enrico, Fabrizio & Co. ed alla mia mamma!!!

It worths a little to talk about our last adventures during Lucca Comics 2008. To be sincere there's nothing interesting about the fair itself and cosplayers meetings. In spite of the fact we stayed in Lucca an entire week we can't see anything else than Cristina d'Avena's concert (she's the most famous cartoon jingles singer in Italy)
and during it rained all the time during the concert!!! Well, to say the truth, it rained all the week without stopping, and so it was all more difficult to be done, we spent all our time to our costumes inspired to the videogame Final Fantasy XI and the more time passed the more they seemed so far away to be completed! Now, I could go on talking about Luccacomics, but I'll prefear to thank those whom made us able to participate to the cosplay contest, that's why you'll not find pictures of cosplayers and fair, I'll dedicate this entire space to Magic KnightS.
Thanks were never so necessary and appropriate than this time, beacuse durnig this week I didn't very much as M.K.'s leader, maybe because I was not very convicted of our participation to cosplay contest (it was since 2001 we didn't participate to a contest). Except this negativities, at the end of this experience, I can say I'm very satisfacted because for the very first time I saw a real "team" working together and doing their best to reach the goal. first of all my thanks to Lorenzo, who substained me all the time, he did his best to realize armours and incite everyone, there never was a Sephiro's column like him to substain M.K. Due to these ones, and more and more other causes that I will not tell here, I want to dedicate to him the prize we had won. My thanks to Enrico, who fighted against time to finish weapons and the wyvern (the little drake) that seemed it would not be finished in time, and to ROberta, for her patience in sewing thousans of beads on the costumes, and thanks also to Daniele, maybe a little bit shocked at his first cosplay. I aplogize with each one of M.K. for my "absence" and I thank each one of them because they gave me the strenght I needed to go on in this adventure. This happening in Lucca was important also for our co-hoperation with two "big" of cosplay Cris and Selaine. At least my thanks to everyone who made our work possible with his helpfully patience: Enrico's parents, Fabrizio & Co. and my mum!!! See you in Lucca in 2009!!!
