LUCCA COMICS AND GAMES…l’avventura dei MK a Lucca......ovvero…una bellissima giornata passata con gli amici, una città splendida e un evento di risonanza nazionale all’insegna delle mie passioni più grandi: fumetti, divertimento e ramen istantaneo!!
Un divertimento che è iniziato già dal viaggio: per l’occasione abbiamo affittato un transit (leggasi: furgoncino con i posti a sedere), con alla guida il nostro nuovo ”acquisto” Enrico, per gli amici (e i frequentatori del forum MK) Erike. La levataccia di quella mattina ce la ricordiamo ancora tutti (e a sua testimonianza ci sono delle “bellissime” foto scattate alle nostre occhiaie ben in vista), e nonostante qualche episodio che insinuava nemmeno tanto velatamente sfiga, tipo l’autogrill che, appena siamo arrivati noi, è rimasto senza corrente, e nonostante sprazzi di maltempo che successivamente ci hanno regalato persino un bellissimo arcobaleno di buon auspicio, siamo giunti in quel di Lucca con tanta eccitazione e felicità. Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa vedendo qualche cosplayers che vagava attorno alle mura, poi abbiamo parcheggiato e lì è iniziata la trasformazione: “Miwa! Lanciami i componenti!” e Massimo è diventato un imponente Zagart, Simona una splendida Emeraude, Serena Scionti una sconvolgente e conturbante (ma congelata!) Alcyone e Lorenzo un altissimo Lafarga. Forse mi sarei potuta sacrificare e congelare anch’io vestendomi da Cardina, ma mi sono divertita di più così, posso dire di essermi goduta maggiormente la fiera! E poi, se mi fossi vestita anch’io, chi avrebbe fatto da portaborse?? Enrico da solo non ce la poteva fare!!
Poco dopo la “vestizione” e l’arrivo di Serena “Cinciu” & Alessio ci siamo recati in pellegrinaggio verso la magica porta che apriva la via alla Fiera, che quest’anno, in onore dei 25° anni dell’evento più famoso nel suo campo, coinvolgeva addirittura TUTTA LA CITTA’!! Eh, si, quest’anno hanno fatto le cose in grande, uno sforzo organizzativo notevole anche se forse superiore alle possibilità della città che la ospitava.
In ogni caso, dopo le foto di rito fuori dalla città, ci siamo inoltrati nelle vie cittadine, accompagnati dai vari Naruto ma anche da cosplay originalissimi tra i quali “Carletto e i mostri” e i “Transformers” e guardati un po’ strani dai turisti che ovviamente non sapevano il motivo per cui tutti fossero vestiti in modo così strambo.
Giunti all’area palco, presa d’assalto, c’è stato l’assedio dei fotografi: Massimo, Simona, Scionti e Lorenzo sono stati letteralmente bloccati, tanto che non riuscivano a fare due passi di seguito che si dovevano fermare. Poco dopo abbiamo incontrato Paolo e Tina, Daniela, Puchiko, Giorgia, Cris, Alessandro e Alessiaed è iniziato lo spettacolo!!! Finalmente ci potevamo godere la visione di una gara che non presentavamo noi!! Sul palco, cosplay fantastici e di grande livello, come d’altronde ero assolutamente preparata a vedere, viste le esibizioni del ROMICS, scenette simpatiche e coinvolgenti, anche se alcune forse troppo lunghe, persino qualche parapara (assolutamente da citare quella di Raito e Riuk di Death Note, non solo ottimo cosplay dello shinigami, ma divertentissima anche la parapara)…quanto ho riso durante la gara di lucca non si può quantificare…
A un certo punto, nostro malgrado, abbiamo dovuto fare una pausa, i nostri piedi chiedevano pietà e avevamo anche una certa fame, inoltre dopo una certa ora è calato il freschetto e il tempo, che per fortuna è stato clemente (visto che la gara e il palco erano a cielo aperto) si stava cominciando a guastare…quindi ci siamo persi una buona parte di gara…che è finita verso le 19:00. Alla fine ero stanca ma felice…per la giornata, per i cosplay che avevo visto, per Massimo e Simona che dopo tanto tempo si sono potuti finalmente fare una Fiera da cosplayers, per Enrico che si è divertito anche se è appassionato di fumetti come noi. Insomma, una bella gita fuori porta, con tanta allegria e tanta gente. La Fiera in sé era un pò al di sotto delle mie aspettative, ma rimane comunque una bellissima fiera, piena di cose interessanti e di persone conosciute e con cui fa sempre piacere incontrarsi, e soprattutto ho avuto la possibilità di visitare la città di Lucca, visto che non c’ero mai stata!! Grazie Massi, grazie Simo (e grazie anche ad Enrico che ha guidato sia all’andata che al ritorno, quando ci siamo quasi tutti addormentati, io probabilmente russavo pure, e lui continuava imperterrito a guidare con destrezza!!), grazie agli organizzatori del Lucca Comics e a tutti quelli che hanno partecipato!!!

That is: a very nice day spent with friends, a beautifu town, and an happening o international relevance under the symbol of my greatest passions: comics, fun and instant ramen!!!
A fun which starter with the trip: we rent a van, the river was our new entry Enrico, for friends (and MK’s forum reders) “Erikè”. The early wake up of hat morning is still well printed in our minds (and to prove it there are some “very very nice” pictures to our bags under theeyes) and except some little hitch (maybe our misfortune????) such as the lie black out at he motorway café just when e arrived there, and in spite of rainy weather (that fortunately turned into sunny giving us a fabulous rainbow) we reached Lucca very excited and happy.
We immediately felt like at home seeing some cosplayers wandering round the walls, then we parked our van and started the ransformation: “Miwa: components launch!” and Massimo became an impressive Zagart, Simona a beautiful Emeraude, Serena Scionti a charming and sexy (but frozen J) Alcyone and Lorenzo a very tall LaFarga. Maybe I would sacrifice myself too (and froze too) wearing the costume of “Cardina”, but I enjoyed the fair more being myself! And afterall if I played a character… who would be the group attendant? Enrico by himself alone surely wouldn’t be able. Just after we wore our costumes and Serena “Cincu” & Alessio arrived we made our own “procession” to the magical door which brought to the fair, that for its 25th birthday was settled all around the city. A very great organization effort, maybe even inadequate to the city’s possibilities. Anyway, after the ritual pictures out of the walls, we entered into the town travelling along its medieval streets accompanied by some Naruto and other very original cosplay (such as “carletto and the monsters” and “Transformers”) under the amazed eyes of toursits. When we reached the stage area all the photographer assaulted Massimo, Simona, Scionti and Lorenzo, they were to the letter blocked, and they cannot walk without stopping every time after few meters. After a few we met Paolo and Tina, Daniela, Puchiko, Giorgia, Cris, Assandro and Alessia andshow started!!! At least we could see a cosplay contest without having to present it! On the stage fantastic hig quality cosplays, but anyway we expected it, as we use to see during Romics, nice and involving little plays, even if someone too long, and also some “parapara” (as we use to say in roman slang to say “really like the original”) the most memorable of which was the one of Raito and Riuk from “death note”, not only a good cosplay of shinigami but also very amusing the “parapara”. I really cannot say how long I laughed during the fair! At a certain time we had to have a break (against our will), our feet implored mercy, and we also were hungry, and add to it that temperature was getting lower and weather cloudy. So we lost a part of the contest which finished at about 7 p.m.
At the end of the day I were tired but happy, happy for cosplay I saw, for Massimo and Simona who finally participateda fair as cosplayers and not as managers, for Enrico who enjoyed the fair very much. A very nice Sunday outing after all, full of happiness ad people to meet. The fair itself a little bit disappointing, but anyway a very nice fair, full of interesting things, people… but most of all I visited the town of Lucca for the first time.
