Madonna e i Magic KnightS Madonna per i Magic KnightS è, prima di tutto, una grande fonte di ispirazione grazie ai suoi molteplici cambiamenti, le sue musiche sempre innovative, il suo incessante re-inventarsi. First of all Madonna is a great inspiration source for Magic KnightS due to her numerous changes, her music always innovative, her incessant re-inventing herself. Obviously we can’t remain immune to the fascinating of a personality and an artist so changeable, adaptable, but most of all ready to break schemes, to challenge against ordinary way of thinking and doing… just like as we are… |

Madonna e i cartoni animati
Oramai che Madonna è un punto di riferimento per i Magic KnightS è più che palese, e lo è ancora di più se guardiamo al suo rapporto col mondo del disegno animato. Infatti è una delle poche star del mondo musicale ad aver utilizzato più di una volta all’interno dei suoi video delle animazioni, che non sono, come spesso accade, dei semplici “riempitivi” o aggiunte, ma addirittura, col passare del tempo, la vedono come protagonista trasformarsi in un’eroina da fumetto. Alcuni esempi di questo si trovano nei video di “Music” (in cui ad un certo punto balzando fuori dalla sua limousine la cantante attreversa una serie di trasformazioni) di “Who’s that girl?” (in cui uno dei tarocchi della cartomante, che la raffigura, si anima), di “Dear Jessie” (dove assume l’aspetto di una fatina come Trilly) e in molti altri ancora. Well, that Madonna is a point of reference for Magic Knights is quite clear, and it’s more clear if we point our attention on her connection with the world of cartoons. In fact she’s one of the few musical world strars who used cartoons in her videos, and these cartoons are not, as usual, accessories, but Madonna herselftransforms into a catoon. Some examples in the video of “Music” (in which one jumping out of her limousine she became a cartoon, of “Who’s that girl” (in which a Tarot, representing Madonna herself,become alive), of “Dear Jessie” (where she become a little fairy) and more others. |

Chi è Madonna ? … una veloce biografia… Madonna nasce il 16 agosto 1958 a Rochester, nel Michigan, come Louise Veronica Ciccone e si distingue sin da subito nei corsi di ballo e di recitazione che frequenta sin da giovane. Nel 1977 si sposta a New York, dove studia con il noto coreografo Alvin Ailey e si dà da fare come modella. Veronica Louise Ciccone is bornonaugust 16th 1958 in Rochester (Michigan), since she was a young girl she demonstrated her attitude to recitation and dance. In 1977 moved to New Yorkwhere she studied dance with Alvin Ailey and worked as model to maintain herself. In 1979 she met Dan Gilroy and together they founded “The Breakfast Club” a musical band. In this years she met and collaborated with Steve Bray, their co-operation let Madonna obtain a contract with the Sire Records production house. In collaboration with the producer Mark Kammins she recorded “Everybody” which became a club hit in 1982. Then is time for “Holiday”, written and produced by John “Jellybean” Benitez, listed into top tens in 1984. In the same year she reach the top of top tens with her first single: “Like a virgin”, another success followed this one: “Material girl” in this performance sheimitated the great Marilyn. 1985 is characterized by “Live aid” and an agitated love story which culminated in the wedding between Madonna and Sean Penn. Finally Madonna reached the status of international superstar due to an obsessive use of media and to some irresistible singles such as “Crazy for you”, “Into the grove”, “Dress you up”, “Papa don’t preach”, “True blue”, “Open your heart”, “La isla bonita”. 1987 is the year of “Who’s that girl” also used as soundtrack. |
